Cadillac CTS-V
The CTS-V is the most powerful version of the CTS range, which is the four-door saloon mid-sized Cadillac. It has an engine pressure of approximately 558 HP.
It is the first CTS-V that will be sold outside North America, Europe, Asia and Middle East. Cadillac leads in North America offering a version CTS-V since 2004 (with a 5.7 litre engine 405 hp), based on the CTS 2002. The new CTS-V is based on the 2008 range of CTS.
Cadillac is intended that the CTS-V competes with cars like the BMW M5 or Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG.
It has a V8 engine of 6.2 litres of engine capacity, with a volumetric compressor. This engine has similarities with the one who carries the Corvette ZR1, which gives 628 HP .
The CTS-V will be available with a manual gearbox and six-speed dual-disc clutch (like the Corvette ZR1) or with an automatic also six marches and controls on the steering wheel to change gear. The traction is to the rear wheels and has a limited slip differential.
